Welcome to my blog!

If you are in for an adventure paired with lengthy, quirky, brutal honest thoughts then you are in the right place.

My name is Arisa and was a cosplayer for 12 years in Malaysia before settling down in Kyoto, Japan. Exploring Japan full time has been a long time dream of mine, so let's explore it together!

Don't Lose It All, Time to Get Data

Many always believe that long distance relationships would never work out especially for those who are in different time zones. I had a friend once who left to further studies overseas leaving her boyfriend and family behind here in Malaysia, the first few months was bearable because both of them because they had a mutual understanding and hope to make things work (in a case to prove people around them wrong and it is possible to maintain a relationship though you are separated half way around the world).

But as months passed by they started contacting each other lesser and lesser due to time constraints and her heavy study load leaving her tired. What's worst is when the long distance communication is expensive (especially calls, so they tend to limit their conversation) and line keeps breaking up every single time which lead to constant frustration for both of them.
In the end her guy assumed she was too busy for him anymore and decided to end things. Heck? Just because the line was bad and he assumed she wasn't interested anymore? =_=
Dude?! Heard of Data Plan?

I admit there is a lot of hardship to deal with and it can be really emotionally taunting and mentally stressful for both of them. I really admire the effort both of them put in during the earlier stage of the long distance relationship, just because of a miscommunication that lead to so much unhappiness. So why let a little internet connection problem stand in between you and your happiness?

A perfect example by Nick and Amy's relationship

Communication is everything, especially in a relationship and staying quiet only makes things worst. You will never know if you might encounter the same problem one day whether it's with your lover, family members or friends. Being far isn't an excuse not to contact them, that is why Xpax is constantly keeping you connected wherever you are :-)
